People tend to think professors are “off” in the summertime, but nothing could be further from the truth.
This past week I was in Las Vegas to promote Santa Fe University of Art and Design and the Moving Image Arts department, and meet with prospective students committed or partially committed to commencing studies this Fall.
In addition, I’m working with department faculty and staff on engineering new initiatives for 2011-2012 — and I’m still annotating final projects and returning them to students throughout the summer.
As a book author, I continue promoting the newly published Mastering Celtx (as well as older books like End to End Game Development) — and as a professional screenwriter and story designer, I continue working on projects-for-hire.
That’s what I’m doing on my summer “vacation”…
