Last minute notice, but I’ll be moderating a free post-screening Q&A with New Mexico documentary filmmaker Melinda Frame (principal of Frame+Work) and Santa Fe University of Art and Design faculty colleague (and Outdoor Vision Fest collaborator) Tom Miller this Monday, November 20, 1pm, at The Screen (SFUAD’s arthouse cinematheque).
The screening is of Melinda’s new documentary “66 Mile Radius“, which documents an art exhibition of the same title at Albuquerque’s renowned Tamarind Institute, a nonprofit center for fine art lithography. (You can view the trailer here.)
I’ll be focusing the Q&A on the process of documentary-making: from conceptualizing to funding to shooting to scripting to editing to distribution. If you’re in the Santa Fe area and have some free time this Monday afternoon: stop on by, catch a free 40-minute documentary on the big screen, and learn a little bit more about documentary creation and production.
