Santa Fe University of Art and Design‘s student-run Jackalope magazine shines the spotlight on this year’s Outdoor Vision Fest. You’ll find me quoted and hanging out for a casual photograph during one of our rehearsal evenings.
Continuing to beat the OVF® drum: I’ll be sitting in with on-air personality Honey Harris on Radio Free Santa Fe‘s “The Big Show” (broadcasting over-the-air at KBAC, 98.1FM in northern New Mexico) this Wednesday, April 26, at 10am MDT. You can live-stream the broadcast here and get the latest developments on Outdoor Vision Fest, just a couple days prior to April 28’s show night.
If you can’t get your fill of OVF 2017 news, check out archived podcasts of my appearances on
- KSFR-FM’s “Cinema Scope” with substitute host Linda McDill, first airing on Friday night, April 21; and
- KVSF-FM‘s “The Richard Eeds Show” with the eponymous host, first airing Monday morning, April 24.
More broadcasts later in the week, as we head to show night on April 28!
For completists, you can now stream the “Cinema Scope” podcast of my April 22 segment on KSFR’s weekly radio broadcast, where I was joined by Film major Kelvin Duval, who helped develop “Broadcast,” one of Outdoor Vision Fest®‘s many successful installations.
The second half of the podcast features Dirk Norris of the New Mexico Film Foundation and Bradd Hopkins, who is producing the “On the Page” screenwriting conference to be held in October 2016 in Santa Fe — and where I’ll be conducting a couple of workshops. More about that in the months ahead…
If you missed the live broadcast of KVSF-FM‘s weekly “Art Beat” this Thursday, you can catch the podcast here. My colleague Professor Tom Miller and I spend an hour with host Kathryn Davis, discussing Outdoor Vision Fest® and its impact on Santa Fe’s art scene, along with providing verbal snapshots of some of the nearly 50 installations debuting this April 29.
Great segment today (April 27) on “New Mexico Film Works” — KVSF 101.5FM’s and the New Mexico Film Office‘s weekly radio broadcast on news and events involving the local film and media industries — with co-hosts Don Gray and Belle Allen, and guest (and faculty colleague) Lisa Lucas — all to discuss Outdoor Vision Fest® 2016. Podcast posted as soon as it’s available.
I’ll be guesting on “New Mexico Film Works” — KVSF 101.5FM’s and the New Mexico Film Office‘s weekly radio broadcast on news and events involving the local film and media industries — to discuss Outdoor Vision Fest® 2016 with host Belle Allen this Wednesday, April 27, at 11am (the segment is actually anticipated to start around 11:25).
We’ll focus specifically on how OVF® relates to New Mexico’s film biz and why local filmmakers and film crew should be coming out to the one-night-only event on April 29.
If you’re not in the local broadcast area, or if you just hate radios, you can (of course) live-stream the broadcast here.
