Here are my colleagues from Istanbul Bilgi’s Visual Communication Design department, relaxing with me (I’m the guy in the middle) at Santa Fe’s popular Downtown Subscription coffeehouse just off Canyon Road, right after our shared success at OVF 2012. (Check out their mind-blowing “Legoretta Alive” installation at OVF.) From left to right: student Can Buyukberber, Professor Cem Ersozlu, me, Program Director Cihangir Istek and Professor Refik Anadol.
It was a real professional highlight working with this team, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with them again.
More than a thousand people attended Santa Fe University‘s 2nd annual Outdoor Vision Fest, which I’m privileged to be shepherding; it is also a privilege to be working with outstanding faculty like Brad Wolfley, Tom Miller, Dae In Chung and Alex Emmons.
In addition, I had the honor of working with a Visual Communication Design faculty contingent from Bilgi University in Istanbul — and was blown away by the 3D architectural mapping installation they designed, entitled “Legoretta Alive.” More about that in a future post.
Just a few hours before Outdoor Vision Fest commenced, Program Director Ira Gordon of KBAC-FM invited me and my esteemed Istanbul Bilgi University colleagues to discuss “Legoretta Alive,” the mind-blowing 3D architectural mapping installation premiering at OVF. Here is the archived broadcast of our chat.
