Announcing 2-WAY’s Indiegogo

On Monday, June 24, my co-producer Claudio Ruben and I announced the pre-launch of 2-WAY‘s Indiegogo campaign on KTRC‘s The Richard Eeds Show. You can listen to the segment here, with a surprise call-in from Santa Fean and congressional candidate Valerie Plame. And you can directly visit our Indiegogo here — which I hope you will.

People often ask me: “Why don’t they make movies they way they used to?” Well, the answer is complicated and multi-faceted — but if you’re looking for a film about the human heart, one that eschews guns, violence, spaceships and superheroes … then 2-WAY is your film. Now we really need your support.

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter if you haven’t already — every like and follow helps us raise the funds for production.

This Week: Santa Fe Radio Tour

Having toured Las Cruces radio stations last week, I’m hitting the Santa Fe airwaves this week with my co-producer Claudio Ruben to discuss my feature film 2-WAY, and to fully unveil the pre-launch of our Indiegogo campaign (one of several revenue streams that will underwrite the 100% independent financing of this film).

First up, a live appearance on KTRC‘s The Richard Eeds Show, 3pm MDT this Monday, June 24 (1260AM and 103.7FM). And you can listen to the live-stream here (anywhere in the world, how about that?).

Podcast iconIf you missed the live broadcast of “The Richard Eeds Show” on KVSF-FM Friday morning, you can still catch the archived podcast of the segment, where OVF student artist Katrina Vollbracht and I both talk about Outdoor Vision Fest 2017, coming up on April 28. Augmented reality, virtual reality, interactive Byzantine ikons and much more — all coming to OVF in 3 weeks!

Outdoor Vision Fest® 2017 Media Tour Commences

I’ll be guesting on “The Richard Eeds Show” (KVSF, 101.5FM, “the Voice of Santa Fe”) this Friday, April 7, at 9am MDT — to kick off 2017’s Outdoor Vision Fest (OVF) OVF2017Postermedia tour. This is the 7th year of OVF, and I’m thrilled to again be executive-producing the event (which I’ve done since co-founding it in 2011), working with Santa Fe University of Art and Design faculty colleagues Brad Wolfley, Tom Miller, Jason Goodyear and others.

In 2016 we attracted some 3800 attendees to the campus for an exciting night of cutting-edge media installations, 100% created by undergraduate students. This year we’re hoping to do even better — and we’re bringing in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality (via the Blippar app, available on iOS and Android — download today!) and other new media toys to further enhance the OVF experience.

OVF 2016 Media Tour Continues

KVSF-FM logoMy colleague Professor Tom Miller and I will join KVSF-FM‘s The Richard Eeds Show on April 21 (Thursday morning, 9am MDT) to talk all things Outdoor Vision Fest®. You can live-stream the broadcast here: we anticipate about a 30-minute segment starting just after the hour. Find out the latest about developing installations, a special surprise musical guest, and more: all in the lead-up to the event itself on Friday, April 29, as darkness falls.

“Richard Eeds Show” – Archived April 28 Broadcast

Missed my appearance on “The Richard Eeds Show” this morning? You’re in luck: the broadcast has been archived, and you can find myself along with Studio Arts Professor Tom Miller discussing all things Outdoor Vision Fest with the affable radio host (first time either of us had been on Eeds’ show).  We’re on the 10am segment and occupy most of the hour: an unusually lengthy time to discuss some of the installations and some of the night’s ambience.

“The Richard Eeds Show” – KVSF 101.5FM, April 28, 10am MDT

KVSF-FM logoContinuing the media blitz this week: Studio Arts Professor Tom Miller joins me on the airwaves again, this Tuesday, April 28, at 10am MDT. We’ll tag-team Santa Fe’s drivetime morning broadcast “The Richard Eeds Show,” which airs on KVSF-101.5FM in northern New Mexico. Naturally, we’ll be talking about all things Outdoor Vision Fest™ (OVF). With nearly 50 installations scheduled to launch the night of May 1, we don’t run out of things to talk about. If you can’t get near a radio or if you’re outside of the immediate broadcast area, you can still livestream the broadcast.

(Don’t forget: you can vote for OVF as “Best (Event) of Santa Fe” — through May 3. And we’d be so appreciative of your vote…)
